Hi, hello, greetings from self-isolation!
I felt this little note is necessary because it’s been more than a week since I last updated and things were still different then. How is everybody doing during this quarantine period? Hopefully, everyone is doing just fine! I am, and I’ve been doing a lot of reading lately which is a good thing. Now I am forced to read all my unread books that have accumulated from the past years!
Anyway, I’m surprised at how my previous post apparently had been so timely. Such unexpected turn of events; we definitely did not see this kind of health crisis coming. Right now, everything is uncertain and we don’t know when the COVID-19 scare is going to end, but I pray that we all come out of it as better human beings.
By that I mean, that when all this is over, I hope we treat each other more kindly and more genuinely. May we develop a stronger appreciation for every chance that we get to spend time with our family and friends, after being away from them (if that is the case for you) during this period. Say, may we never take those times for granted ever again.
The next time we go to the cafe, or to the bookstore, to the library—I hope we treat strangers kinder. Take advantage of every moment to try to make each other smile. As casual people with limited reach and influence, we can only do so much. Even the smallest acts of kindness matter, especially when that we’re coming out of this kind of pandemic; and I pray for it to be soon.
I don’t want to take up too much of your time because this, right here and now, is exactly your chance to do something productive, not for deadlines and due dates, but for your well-being. Pick up a book, clean out your room, organize your closet, your bookshelf, or whatever, re-organize them if you want. Make yourself a cup of tea, write on your journal, meditate, listen to good music, anything, really—anything that would make you feel better in this time of uncertainty.
And of course: keep clean and practice really good hygiene! It’s the most important thing right now, let’s not forget.
Alright, how do you keep yourself busy these days? Let me know and maybe we can chat in the comments below! Stay safe, everyone! ?

Beautiful post!
I honestly think this may all be a blessing in disguise. To realize humans are good, to revitalize ourselves and well being, and for nature to replenish itself.
Cheers to better days ahead!

Thank you! Oh, well I don’t think this is a blessing in disguise at all, there’s a lot of factors to consider and everything is at risk. Especially people who aren’t as privileged to even have a home to quarantine themselves in. It’s a really dangerous time right now, I wouldn’t necessarily call it a replenishing. But I hope this pandemic ends soon, very soon, I pray! Thanks for dropping by, Angelica!
I couldn’t agree more. I’m longing for the better days, not just for me, but for my family, especially our kids. Keep safe dear! And thanks for the inspiring read.
